The Egg Man
Submitted by: Lyle Eyota MN
He is 'The Egg Man;' koo-koo-ka-choo! Henry is a German who came to this country due to strife in his homeland during WW2. He enjoys conversing 'auf Deutsch' (in German) with area Amish. With them, Henry frequently shares various Christian literature and Bibles written in German in exchange for eggs. With dozens of eggs in tow, Henry shares those eggs with members of his congregation. Henry has also been serving for many years as a chauffeur to those, either elderly or disabled, who have no way to get to church. Henry stops in front of the local Care Center and "honk-honk!" He toots his horn. "It's The Egg Man!" his passengers respond happily!
